In the month leading up to the conference, all of our committee directors will be hosting optional office hours. In these sessions, delegates will have the opportunity to meet directors virtually before the conference even begins, get to know them better, and ask any questions about Yale Model United Nations Dubai! Each session will last one hour. After brief committee introductions by the directors, sessions will open up to questions and comments. It is recommended that delegates only attend the session hosted by their committee director. If you cannot make the session, but still have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to your directors via email!

Supplementary Resources
During the conference, delegates will present a variety of written products. For traditional committees types, such as General Assemblies and Economic and Social Councils, the two most important of these would be: a working paper and a resolution. For non-traditional committee types, such as specialized and crisis committees, the two most important of these would be: a crisis note and a directive. You can learn more about what these are in the “Rules of Procedure” page of our website. To further prepare you to write these documents, we have provided strong samples and tips below.
